Occasionally I am asked for help by local Immobiliers on behalf of clients who wish to either enhance to potential of their property prior to sale, or for purchasers who wish to ensure that their dream can be fulfilled by means of a detailed Certificate d’Urbanisme prior to the completion of the Acte de Vente.
In this case a very run down two bedroom hamlet house was attached to two sizeable barns. One is to be used to extend the current house, and the other is to be converted into a separate gîte for rental.
In addition to gaining the approval of the Certificate d’Urbanisme, the purchasers wanted to be sure that the large barn doors could be fully glazed as part of the project.
